William D. Baker

William D Baker 83 of Mattydale passed away January 24th, 2025, at St. Joseph's hospital. He was born on July 7th, 1941, to Arnold and Sarah Baker. William was in the United States Army from 1963-1965. He worked at the Lost Horizon as a bouncer and was also a self-employed painter. William was predeceased by his parents, wife Helen and his brother Harvey. He is survived by two sisters: Beverly McEwen and Janice Grenga of Syracuse, a son Billy Jr of California, two stepchildren Julie Gorman of California and David LaLonde of Syracuse. Several nieces and nephews. He loved everyone in his own special way. A graveside service will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 4069 Howlett Hill Rd, Syracuse, NY 13215 on Thursday, February 6th at 1pm.
